The main point of entry into Rockport is Rockport Harbor. In this view, the entrance is in the near right, and the VFW building, city hall and the visitor center are in the far right. That green blob at the very top left is a tree and it is in the same direction you are facing.

Rockport Harbor areas overview

If you only got into Rockport Harbor, you could miss a lot of the docks, the big parking lot and the area where people go to be alone. In these photos, most of the docks are on the north side and the parking lot is on the south side. The big parking lot is right next to the tennis courts and the public restrooms. There is a public bathroom in the parking lot.

Parking lot view

This is the view from the parking lot. The far left dock is the largest and has a playground on it. The dock closest to you has a fire pit on it and is the only dock that is not lit up.

Parking lot lake

There are several natural lakes in Rockport Harbor and a few of them have docks. This is the largest and deepest.

Dock areas overview

The docks have areas marked with the letters A through K, and a few streets.

This is the area marked F. There are small blue lights on the poles that are perpendicular to the harbor wall. The A, D, G and H area are directly on the harbor wall. This is a pier that extends from the harbor wall and it is in the direction you are looking. The E, F and J area are along the perimeter of the boat lift dock. In the G area is a rope swing, and in the K area is a place to climb on the dock. This area is all under the bluff area, so you can't drive up to it.
